Condo Renovation Design and Decorating
The client wanted to transform her builder's standard 3-storey condo into her very own personalized custom
home.
Besides replacing standard light fixtures, repainting and redecorating. There were a couple of specific
challenges that we needed to tackle.

challenges that we needed to tackle.
Challenge #1:
The client strongly disliked the
trim that covered the drywall
seams along the stairwell walls.

Solution: We created a large feature wall by adding wainscoting panels. We also added a new modern light
fixture to bring more light into the space; hung large framed family photos to add drama; and replaced the
carpeting with hardwood to match the rest of the main floor. This look was carried through up to the 3rd floor
stairwell.

Challenge #2:
Turn the unassuming 3rd floor master ensuite into
a luxury hotel-style retreat for the client; and
provide additional storage beyond the existing
walk-in closet.

Solution: Stunning travertine tiles on the floor and shower; emperador dark marble countertop with glass and
stone blend backsplash and shower detail; new cabinet handles; all new plumbing and light fixtures; new closet
organizer and door to close off closet from ensuite; custom storage cabinet to match vanity.
